The new Archivorum Publication Award for miart was awarded to Frank Wasser, during his presentation in the Emergent section with the gallery, for a lucid and incisive artistic practice capable of rigorously engaging with structures of power, class, and identity.
The Archivorum Publication Award for miart was launched as an extension of the Archivorum×M publishing series, supporting the development of an original editorial project created in close collaboration between the selected artist and an independent publisher. The initiative aims to go beyond the traditional catalogue format and encourage experimentation with new editorial languages – including, but not limited to, the artist’s book. The chosen artist was selected within the presentations of the Emergent section, and the award carries a value of €20,000.
